Happy Valentine's Day to all our beautiful readers! I hope your day is filled with lots of love, hugs, kisses, and of course chocolate. While most believe this day is only for couples, I take it as a day that can be celebrated with all your loved ones. Even if you're a single lady like myself, there's no one stopping you from enjoying the irresistibly cute baked goods, chocolate, and all things heart shaped.
In case you're curious, the term "heart on my sleeve" actually stems from the Middle Ages and was used during jousting matches. Men would outwardly show who their mates were by wearing ribbons or cloths in the colours of the lady whom they were supporting. How romantic, right?
