Hello loves!
This month's Two-Look Tuesday is inspired by the BEAUTIFUL weather we've been having here in Vancouver. If you're a Vancouverite, then you would have already known the horrible weather we've been having for what I'd consider most of our spring season. Yesterday was the first day I've actually been able to wear shorts, so a printed shorts inspired Two Look Tuesday was only a MUST.
My first look is a more day-time appropriate outfit; I decided to go sans-jewellery, since sometimes its nice to just be easy-breezy during the summer months. However, as the temperature rises, as does the brightness of my clothes! I decided to go for these bold, printed shorts from Joe Fresh (technically PJ's.. Shhhh!), paired with a simple flowy blouse tucked in. As for shoes, I thought these bright orange flats complemented the shorts quite well (even though they're not comfortable for long-time wear), and I would have topped this off with a tan/brown coloured hangbag.
My second look, a more night-time appropriate outfit was also inspired by one of spring's trends, monochrome. I have always loved the black and white look, and always try to incorporate black and white into my room decor as well. However, I couldn't finish this outfit with a complete head-to-toe black and white ensemble, so I opted for a pair of cobalt blue pumps and a single neon bracelet. As for a handbag, I would have topped it off with a simple black clutch.
Unfortunately Fatima wasn't able to join in on this month's post, as its been a hectic past week for her since she has been back in Vancouver.
On that note... we want to thank all of our readers for your continued support, you really have no idea how much it means to us! We are very excited for what is to come in the near future for our blog, and look forward to sharing our journey with you.
xoxo,
Luvania

Ahhh! So gorgeous, those shorts look absolutely amazing on you! And of course you styled them to perfection ;)
ReplyDeleteI've been buying way too many shorts lately but they are so worth it for this beautiful weather we've been having lately. Today, I'm wearing my newest print shorts: those polka dot J. Crew shorts!

Ahh yes, those J. Crew shorts... I love that pair! I hear the weather is going to dip a bit over the next few days, but hopefully it'll be nice and sunny for the BBQ on Sat! Hopefully we can sneak out for some blog pix :)
